BF is Ah Aah

After his controversial debut as an actor in New, S J Suryah began his next movie titled BF (Best Friend). With the protest from Tamil Protection Movement led by PMK leader Ramadoss and Dalit Panthers of India leader Thol Thirumavalavan to change the title, Suryah after three months of its launch had changed the name from BF to Ah Aah, the first two letters in the Tamil Alphabet.

When contacted Suryah said, �I won�t say it was because of the pressure from Tamil Protecting Movement. Basically I do not want to hurt anyone�s feeling. They wanted me to change the title in Tamil. I also felt that there is nothing wrong in their demand. Hence I left it with the audience. I had made a request to the Tamil audience through a vernacular magazine to suggest a suitable alternative name for BF in Tamil. The response was amazing. Out of 97,136 entries, 210 people had opted for the title Ah Aah, which are the first two letters in the Tamil Alphabet�.
