Aegan is not a Hindi remake
'Aegan' is not the remake of the Hindi 'Main Hoon Na' ", says Raju Sundaram. Main Hoon Na is a Bollywood film of 2004 starring Shahrukh and Sushmita Sen. It tells the story of an army officer and his efforts to foil a terrorist.
Ace choregrapher Raju Sundaram, whose directorial debut is 'Aegan' says, "Aegan has not been remade from 'Main Hoon Na'; it is just inspired from a Korean film and 'Back to school', an English movie of 1986. Aegan is also getting released in some countries where the Tamil films have not been released so far. 400 prints have been made."
Raju Sundaram had earlier choreographed for some of the movies of Ajith. He added that it was comfortable and easy working with Ajith as they both have already worked together.
