Sada relies heavily on Maddy & K.S.Ravikumar!

KS Ravikumar

"You could predict the result of a film at the film's Pooja itself and I'm sure that this one is going to be a big hit", says a smiling KS Ravikumar.

His latest film 'Yethiri' had been launched in the presence of the VIPs of Tamil cinema.

The film has many firsts to its credit- first time Madhavan + S Ravikumar, Madhavan + Sadha, KS Ravikumar+ Yuvan Shankar Raja. Very impressive. The commercial success wizard KS Ravikumar had hinted that the film 'Yethiri' is going to be an Action based Love story.

Almost all the film personalities had turned up to congratulate them. Simpu and Dhanush, who have become regulars at all the launches were at this film too. As reported by Cinesouth yesterday, Dhanush was accompanied by his personal security guard.

"I have been floored by Yuvan Shankar raja's music. I wanted to work with him for a long time. Working with young people like Madhavan, Yuvan Shankar and Sadha would probably take years of my age," Ravikumar said, laughing.

"Majority of the film audience is young college crowd. I have made the screenplay to suit their taste. Since there is TV to take care of sentiments I don't think films need to have them anymore. This film wouldn't have even the sentiments that 'Villain' had."

His answer to "You always made movies about villages. Do you think it would work in the current scenario?" was, "Films like 'Pita Magan' and 'Jayam' were shot completely in villages. You need to shoot them interestingly. That's all."

Why do 'Villain' and 'Yethiri' have similar negative titles? His justification- "'Villain' and 'Yethiri' aren't the same. 'Villain' is a ruthless person.

Everybody had their eyes fixed on Sada. The girl who had stolen the young hears away with her 'Poyaa po po' didn't even ask about the film's story when she signed the film up. "I simply asked them who the director and hero were and when I heard the answers, I accepted without any further questions. Even now I don't know what my character is, but I know they would only have a good role for me," she coolly replied.

Madhavan was seen with a week old tonsured hair, his hairstyle for 'Aayutha Yezhuthu'. "Its rare for such a team to get together. The recent success of 'Jay Jay' had given him a big boost. The latest information is- the 'Jay Jay' team is getting together again for Oscar Films for a new film.

People who had turned up for the function say that 'Yethiri's greatest strength is its very versatile team.

We hope Ravikumar's instincts come true.
