The ‘Art of Living’ course has changed actress Nagma completely. So much so that today she speaks about meditation and devotion. Armed with lot of experience in the art of living, she is travelling to Singapore to conduct a six-day course on her new assignment. With over 100 films to her credit in various languages in her decade long career, Nagma is now contemplating on producing a film and a television serial. “This is an entertainment media. Through it, I would like to convey a few messages to a wide section of people,” informed the actress on the sets of the Kannada film Hrudayavantha. This is her second film with director P Vasu and first film opposite Vishnuvardhan.

Explaining the reasons for her interest in yoga and devotion, Nagma said, “I was a level-headed person during my college days. I wanted to take up Business Management but accidentally, I became an actress and in these ten years, many inevitable things happened to me that at one point of time, I realised that money was not everything. To gain peace and contentment, the course of Art of Living by Sri Sri Ravishanker helped me a lot. After that a transition has taken place in my life. Now I even teach this course. And as a teacher, I have travelled to various cities in India and my first trip as a teacher will be to Singapore. This year, I will be taking classes in London and US too. I have students ranging from age seven to 40. Through Art of Living, control over the mind and self-confidence is attained after following certain guidelines.”

It became one of the most talked about affairs, not just in India, but also in Australia to the extent that the Australian media had described Indian cricket team’s captain Sourav Ganguly’s running between the wickets as running between his wife Dona at one end and Nagma at the other.

But now, according to Nagma herself, it’s all over between her and Ganguly.

Yes, there was an affair, which has now ended.

But Nagma also states that she was not ‘used’ and dumped. She even felt that there was something genuine in her relationship with the married Indian skipper.

The buxom actress said that it was due to some unforeseen circumstances that Ganguly had to choose other things over her and does not blame him for the failure of their relationship.

Denying that she is in a vulnerable situation, Nagma has admitted that she keeps crying and is distressed. But she is quick to change guard when told that some people who believe it was she who was responsible for trouble between Sourav and his wife Dona. "If there was nothing wrong in their relationship, why did he come to me?" she shot back.
