Started acting in Films from Childhood

I have acted in 45 films as child artiste in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films.

Made my debut as heroine in the Tamil movie "ORU PUDIYA KADHAI".

As a heroine I have starred in 34 Tamil films, and at present I am working in 5 more Tamil movies.

In Telugu I have acted in 40 Films as heroine and at present I am working in 3 more Telugu films. My Telugu debut as a heroine was in the movie "NAVA YUGAM" where I was cast opposite Rajendra Prasad.

"SEETHA RAMAYYA GAARI MANAVA RAALU" was a turning point in my Telugu film career; I played the role of the grand daughter of SRI AKKININI NAGESWARA RAO, The film ran for 200 days in Andhra Pradesh.

"CHANTI" was a super hit wherein I acted as the heroine with HERO VENKATESH. This Film also ran for more than 200 days in Andhra Pradesh.

I have acted in Malayalam and Kannada also; 4 films in each language and one film in Hindi. Currently Iam acting in some Malayalam films also.

The awards I have got so far were been a great source of inspiration and motivation for me

Kalai Maamani award for the year 1997 - 1998 from the Government of Tamil Nadu on 10.7.98

Two Nandi Awards for Best Actress from the Government of Andhra Pradesh - one for "SEETHA RAMAYYAGAARI MANAVARALU" and another one for "RAJESHWARI KALYANAM".

Six Cinema Express Best Actress Awards for the following Films
i) Seetha Ramayya Gaari Manavaralu - Telugu
ii) Naattamai - Tamil
iii) Muthu - Tamil
iv) Putnanja - Kannada
v) Avvai Shanmugi - Tamil
vi) Barathi Kannamma - Tamil

Got Best Actress 'KALA SAGAR' award for the film "CHANTI" (1992)

Best Actress STATE AWARD from the Government of Tamilnadu for the films "EJAMAAN" and "SETHUPATHI IPS" released in the year 1993

i) MUTHU - Tamil (1995)
ii) BARATHI KANNAMMA - Tamil (1997)

Film Fans Associations 45th Annual (1995) BEST ACTRESS Award for the Kannada film "PUTNANJA" Best Actress Award for "BARATHI KANNAMMA" in the Screen Videocon South Awards for excellence in Cinema (1997).

Best Actress STATE AWARD from the Govt. of Tamilnadu for the film "PORKAALAM" on 8.12.98

"KALAI SELVAM" Award from the South Indian Artiste Association on 12.9.96 from the hands of Hon'ble former Chief Minister Sri M. KARUNANIDHI

DINAKARAN Tamil News Paper's Best Actress Award for the Tamil Film "AVVAI SHANMUGI" for the year 1996, got on 20.7.97
