Kavya Madhavan is a popular Malayalam Movie Actress. Kavya Madhavan is a soft spoken, good looking and talented young south Indian heroine. She acted in a large number of Malayalam films and also in a number of Tamil films too.

Kavya Madhavan hails from Nileswaram in the Kasargod district of Kerala. She entered the film industry as a child artist in the film 'Pookkalam Varavayi'. Later her presence in the Malayalam film industry was felt when she acted in the film 'Azhakiya Ravanan' for the childhood face of the heroine Bhanupriya.

Kavya's early films after her first appearances as child artist include Oral Mathram, Krishnagudiyil Oru Pranayakalathu, Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal, and Bhoothakkannadi.

Kavya started acting in matured roles in movies like Chandranudikkunna Dikkil, Madhuranombarakattu, Darling Darling, Thenkasipattanam, Padom Onnu Kumarante Kudumbam, Rakshasa Rajavu, Onnaman, and Dosth.

Kavya became more popular in 2002 when she acted in movies like Oomappenninu Uriyadappayyan and Meesha Madhavan. Her golden years followed from 2003, with films like Thilakkam, Sadanandante Samayam, Pulival Kalyanam, Gaurisankaram, Runway, Aparichithan, Greetings, and Perumazhakkalam.

The year 2005 saw another bunch of films to Kavya's credit which involve Iruvattam Manavatti, Annorikkal, Kochi Rajavu, Ananthabhadram and Seelabathi.

Lion, Vadakkumnathan, Classmates and Chakkaramuthu followed in 2006. Kavya's latest films are Inspector Garud, Athisayan, Nadiya Kollappetta Rathri, Naalu Pennungal, Kangaroo, and Rikshakkaran.

Kavya's movies in 2008 are Twenty:20 and Sadhu Miranda.
