A routine saga, the story begins with Tony Sebastian (Kalabhavan Mani) who happens to be a Sub Inspector of police and he is a strict and a straight forward cop. Owing to his nature, he is the enemy for all the evil and corrupt elements and this also includes the politicians. Transfers are a regular routine for Tony and in one such process, he lands up at a village near Aluva. This happens to be a haven for the land mafia and they are being led by a local young man Kannan (Sajith Raj) and the locals are exploited with low wages. Kannan also happens to be the key man for Bhadran Thampuran (Jagatheesh) of Kovilakan. However, Kannan has a romance story going with Athira (Pooja) and what many villagers don't know is the other side of Kannan. Soon Tony takes the battle to Kannan and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.
The director has come up with a predictable storyline and both his narrative and presentation were not upto the mark. The dialogues were shoddy, the script was raw and the screenplay was poor. Music and cinematography failed to create any impact and editing was numb. Costumes, art department and locations were neat and that's all about the whole thing. Kalabhavan Mani has done this several times so there is nothing much to his performance. Sajith Raj was good, Pooja was sexy and true to her image, she has shown enough oomph on the screen. Jagathy was regular while Jagadheesh did his bit, Indrans and Mamukoya were regular.
The film has got a storyline that has been seen several times before so there is nothing new in that aspect. Both the first and second half of the film have been very much the same with the same sequences, songs and the horrifying action sequences. In just thirty minutes of the film, the viewers knew what was in store and hence, it had nothing to engage them. The film might appeal to those hardcore front benchers who want nothing but few blood filled scenes and some steamy navel shows.
