The film is the maiden production of the duo Devayani and Rajakumaran under the production banner 'Rade Films'. After 'Vinnukkum Mannukkum' this is the next venture for Rajakumaran, while the earlier was not a runaway hit. Proving his directorial deeds in 'Nee Varuva Ena', which was also a romantic drama, Devayani plays the love interest in this love triangle between Murali and Abbas while Ramesh Khanna plays the fiddle of a marriage broker. After receiving a applause from the fans for her short yet lively performance with the acting legend Kamal Hassan in 'Panchanthanthiram', Devayani is all set for this venture which the director's desk as usual has a word to say it as a 'different love story'.
