Everybody in building contractor Hariharan Pillai's carpentry workshop is happy. The reason for them to be happy is the presence of the main carpenter Jagathy Sreekumar (Vasu). Also has Cochin Haneefa, Salim Kumar, Machan Varghese, Kalabhavan Martin as assistant carpenters.

But this happiness did not last too long. The appearance of Hariharan Pillai to the workshop made them unhappy. Pillai was seen in an angry mood as the wood purchased for a good amount was seen less in number. Vasu used to sell this wood outside for a better amount. When Pillai knew that Vasu was behind this, he ousts him from his workshop.

Hariharan Pillai Happy Aanu another comedy is produced by Johnny Sagarika and directed by Vaduthala Viswam, an assistant of Priyadarshan. Kairali TV Sing and Win Fame Nikhil too acts in this film.

Mohanlal is back after a Pizhichil (massage treatment) at a famous Ayurvedic health centre near Shornnur. After this movie, Mohanlal will be doing the role of a cop in Naran, Ranji Panicker's debut film. Jyothirmayi will be the heroine of Mohanlal and that too a role of a fashion designer.
