Vallavan is red hot!

Simbu and producer P.L.Thenappan of Sri Rajalakshmi Films seems to love courting controversy especially if it is on skin shows! On Wednesday May 18, they launched they launched their first film together Vallavan at Santhome High School in Chennai.

On the launch day the walls of Chennai city were plastered with provocative posters of Vallavan which is sure to raise the ire of women organizations and purists. One of the posters had Simbu biting Nayantara�s lips and another one of Reema Sen�s sexy posture with the hero.

Vallavan is written and directed by its hero Simbu and is said to be a mix of Summer of 42 and various other teen love stories. The famous still photographer Daboo Ratnani from Bollywood came down to Chennai to do this photo-shoot of Simbu with the three leading ladies Sandhya, Nayantara and Reema Sen.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for Vallavan and the film has turned out to be red hot in the trade circuit with producer quoting Rs 80 Lakhs for Coimbatore area! (Thotti Jaya has been given to the same area for Rs 45 Lakhs). Simbu sure knows how to market his movies!
