Udayon in a mess!
The release date of Mohanlal�s Bhadran directed Udayon has been pushed to Auguest 4 as post production work continues. Mohanlal�s hatchet man Perumbavoor Antony is putting a lot of pressure on Subair, the producer of Udayon to release the film as soon as possible. His vested interest is that Naran, the film that he is producing is scheduled for a Onam (September 2) release.
The latest we hear is that Subair has run out of funds and has no money to pay for studio hire and technicians. A peeved Subair is loudly complaining that the film has over shot the budget and by the time of release it may be over Rs 3.50 Crore, including print and publicity!
More shocking is the attitude of Mohanlal who seems to be disinterested in solving the confusion over release date. And which superstar will have two releases back to back and that too both in action genre?
