Trisha- The new Fanta girl!

Coco Cola India has signed Trisha, the hot and happening girl in south Indian cinema as their brand ambassador for Fanta their orange drink replacing Simran.

At a function held at the Park Sheraton, Chennai, Trisha opened a bottle of Fanta and officially launched herself as the brand ambassador. Mr Ashok Namboothiri, Area operations director, Coco Cola India, elaborated on the reasons on why Trisha was selected to do the promos: �Trisha is the current teenage heartthrob and the perfect foil for the brand's colourful image. She symbolizes fun, frolic, exuberance which is in-sync with Fanta.�

A new advertisement campaign featuring Trisha, and the latest promotion, "Fanta Potti Manikku Mani Looti" will hit the TV screen from March 10. Added to this she will visit retail shops and also do road shows for the promotion. Trisha says she is happy to be associated with Fanta, which "anyway happens to be" her favourite drink.

Their under-the-crown promotion will provide a great opportunity for fans of Trisha and other consumers to win a mobile phone on an hourly basis for 12 hours a day and for 30 days from March 10.
