Rajinikanth thanks his fans

In a four page handwritten letter, Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth, who was discharged from the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre recently, thanked his fans for their prayers and support. "I have no words to thank my fans for their immense support and prayers. I will never forget your love…," he began the letter in an emotion-charged epistle.

The 61 year old actor also assured his fans that he would return to acting very soon and finish shooting his current flick Rana, ending speculations that the period film is shelved.

On a philosophical note, Rajni also said, "While the man's duty was only to spin the coin in the air during a game, it is the Lord Almighty who decides the result. In the game which I played recently, the world’s top specialists and the latest medical technology were on one side, while my fans, and their prayers were on the other. My 100% belief is that these saved me," he said in this letter.

In the letter, Rajni also mentioned about his first couple of calls to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and former CM Karunanidhi.
