No romance with Trisha: Prithviraj

Prithviraj has more than his fair share of enemies in Malayalam. This greatly hampered his career progress in the language. But, things are very different for the young hero in Tamil.

He has found an excellent buddy in Tamil- actor-turned-producer Prakashraj. So thick is their friendship that Prithviraj has become a regular feature in all the films that prakashraj makes. It began with 'Mozhi', continues with 'Vellithirai' (the Tamil remake of 'Udayanaanu Thaaram') and the latest film that Prakashraj is now starring and producing, 'Abhiyum Naanum'.

The film stars Trisha in the lead role. Prakashraj plays the role of her father. He had brought in Prithviraj to make a guest appearance in the film.

Soon everybody began to wonder if there is going to be a romantic angle in the story. But Prothviraj has made it clear that there is no such element in the story.

"The film is about a family- father, mother and daughter and the life that they life. It is told in flashback. I play the role of the person to whom Trisha's dad shares the story of his life with. So, there is no scope for romancing Trisha in the film," he said.
