Kushboo injured and hospitalised
Kushboo got injured while shooting for the Malayalam film Mr Marumakan directed by Sandhya Mohan.
In the film she plays top Malayalam actor Dileep's arrogant mother-in-law.
The director was shooting a scene where the 'arrogant mother-in-law' played by Kushboo had to walk down a set created of wooden staircase.
As Kushboo was walking down the stairs it collapsed and she fractured her left leg and is now hospitalised in a Kochi hospital.
Kushboo will now take complete rest for a fortnight. Sundar C on hearing about his wife's accident rushed to Kochi from Chennai to be by her side.
The shooting of Mr Marugan has been suspended for a week.
