Jyothika on screen again

Jyothika who bid good-bye to films after her marriage to Surya, has now agreed to play a part in the documentary along with Vijay, Surya and Madhavan. "It was for a good cause and she wished to participate in it. So, she will also be in the documentary," confirmed her husband, actor Surya. Speaking about how the entire proposal began, Surya says talks about a documentary started as early as in December last year when he met Minister for School Education Thangam Thennarasu and discussed the school Surya has adopted near Kanchipuram. "There are about 1,300 kids there. The minister said a lot more children would be benefited if we stars could join hands and do a documentary film about it." Now, the actor will be playing a part in the documentary which will also feature Vijay and Madhavan. Ajith was also approached but it didn't work out. Shoot for the documentary has begun already. It is directed by Priya V and music is by Harris Jayaraj.
