Iqbal screened in Pakistan

Showman Subhash Ghai's critically acclaimed film Iqbal and Anupam Kher's Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara were screened at the fifth Kara Film Festival held in Karachi (Pakistan's largest film festival of international standards where the movies from around the world are exhibited).

Four feature films; eight short films and two documentary films were exhibited at the festival. Subhash Ghai and Mahesh Bhatt were specially invited to attend the event.

"I am very happy that my film has been screened here. This way the people of Pakistan can watch it on big screen. When they invited me, it was like an honour to come to Pakistan with my film", showman informed the media.

"I've been attending this festival for last two years and it's always an honour to come to Pakistan", Bhatt said.

Participants admired both of Bollywood movies amongst the others.

Prominent film and television celebs of Pakistan graced this occasion like Meera and Samina Perzada.
