Gopika weds on July 17

Gopika has now announced the date of her wedding- July 17.

Gopika is glad to return to her Girly Anto days. On the 17th of July, she will get married to the Ireland-based doctor, Akhilesh. She says that she intends to settle down in Ireland after her wedding and has no plans to return to films in the near future.

The marriage is going to take place at Kothamangalam. The wedding is going to be a family-affair but a grand reception is being planned for the film fraternity.

In her short career, Gopika has managed to star in more than 35 films. The actress, after her ‘4 The People’ success, made her debut in Tamil and was seen in a series of hit films. She couldn’t make it big in Tamil due to her very traditional looks and her choice of roles. She also remained away from scandals except for a brief rumor that she was involved with the director of her big hit in Tamil.
