Johnny Antony, the director who gave us four entertainers, namely CID Moosa, Kochi Raajavu, Thuruppugulan and Inspector Garud, now teams up with Classmates-fame scenarist James Albert to give us the youthful entertainer Cycle.

The film, which has all the ingredients that go into the making of a youthful flick, takes us to a shopping mall named City Centre. 'Kausthubhan Financiers is a firm that functions in the shopping mall, where young Roy works. Roy always dreams of going to the Gulf and making it big. Marvel Travels is another establishment which too functions in the same complex, very near to Kausthubhan Financiers. Young Annie works there. Roy has developed a liking for Annie.

In the same shopping complex we come across Sanju, who works in a firm called Venad Electricals. He had lazed about during his student days and is now burdened with lots of responsibilities. Meenakshi, who is the daughter of Kausthubhan, the proprietor of Kausthubhan Financiers, is a frequent visitor to the mall. Her heart is hooked on to young Sanju, but Sanju, caught in his daily worries, doesn't seem to notice her love. On a New Year eve, life takes a new twist for these young souls.

This forms the plot of Cycle, which has popular singer Vineeth Sreenivasan (the son of actor-director Sreenivasan) donning the role of Roy, while Vinu Mohan (who had made his debut in Nivedhyam) does the role of Sanju. Bhama is Annie while Kadhal-fame Sandhya becomes Meenakshi. Jagathy Sreekumar does the role of Kausthubhan. Cycle, which has been shot in Kannur, Kochi, Mumbai and Singapore, will be brought to the theatres by Lal Release.
