Anniyan arrives on 17th !
After repeatedly announcing the release date and then postponing it, 'Oscar Ravichandran' has now finalized June 17th as the release date of his Rs 25 crore magnum opus Anniyan.
Ravi blames Harris Jayaraj, the music director of the film for the delay, as he took nearly 45 days to complete the re-recording on the film! Now the final stages of mixing are going on. The censors are likely to see the film on June 10th or 11th.
Meanwhile Ravi has decided to release the film with less number of prints than Chandramukhi due to fierce opposition from theatre people who do not want him to flood the market and saturate the release.
Ravi's delay in releasing the film has also caused headache to other producers who have been postponing their release, as they do not want to clash with Anniyan.
