Amisha opts out of SRK film

Amisha Patel, who was offered a role in Red Chillies next has opted out of the SRK production. She was supposed to play a role opposite Irfaan Khan in Priyadarshan’s forthcoming film Billoo Barber .

It’s an adaptation of the story between Lord Krishna and Sudama which will be produced by SRK’s production house Red Chillies Ent. Reportedly it’s a story of friendship between two friends - one rich and the other a poor villager. Needless to say SRK plays the rich friend who is an actor. On the other hand Irrfan Khan plays a poor village barber.

It is also believed that the film will also star three big actresses like Kareena, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone opposite SRK. While Tabu who was finalized opposite Irfaan backed out at the last moment. Eventually Amisha who worked with Priyadarshan in his last film Bhool Bhulaiya , bagged it. Now the buzz is that Amisha wants to opt out.

A close friend of Amisha reveals “The role which has been offered to Amisha is not very happening. Looking at the length of the character she may not do it.”

While a unit hand informs that Amisha wasn’t happy with the character since the beginning but when Priyadarshan offered her a role she couldn’t refuse. Apart from her, Kareena and Priyanka Chopra will be seen in more significant roles and that is what made her opt out of Billoo Barber .

Now after Tabu and Amisha, let’s see who will be Irfaan Khan’s next co star!
